Question

Adding pictures no space in disk

Hi,

I've been trying to add more photos to the catalogue in LR but always says I have no space left.

I've checked the HDD and has plenty of space, and also the external HDD where I have the catalogue.

I thought the issue was due to some extra space, but after erasing from both disks, I've got left 20TB and 5PB....it should be more than enough to add one picture. But still same message.

Thanks,

Welcome to the community, @Sara2549352966e4! It sounds like you may be using the Cloud-Based version of Lightroom, which uploads your images to the cloud, making them available to you from any device that has Lightroom installed and logged into.

If you want to store the images only on your hard drive, you might want to consider Lightroom Classic. Let me know if you have any questions on either software. 🙂

Hi there, that's indeed what I guess I need. I don't want mutidevice, so LR
classic should be the best option right? As you say, I only store de images
in my external HDD, and only with my mac pro, so no cloud and multidevice
are needed.
Hoy can I change my subscription?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Sara, you don't necessarily need to change your subscription. What plan to you have? The Photography Plan includes both LR and LRC. However, if you just have the 1Tb Lightroom Plan, you may need to switch.

You can Contact Customer Care for help in that case. There's a "Change your plan" link on this page:
