There was a problem with my lightroom app not too long ago, which wiped all of my edited photos but when I go sifting through the apps files, I still see the imported photos. Please could you really do something about this.

which OS are you on?
When you say you go sifting through the apps files, what exactly do you mean then?
How are you doing this, in the app or somewhere else?

If I understand you correctly you want the app to use less disk space on the device right?
