Adobe lightroom loading unselected pictures

Hi,

I have a problem with lightroom. When i open it and select one picture, for example, well lightroom loads almost every pictures that i have and like i said, i only selected 1 or 2 pictures. And because of that, it takes forever to load and takes more space on my hard drive/memory. I tried  uninstalling and installed again, nothing works.
