adobe not sending verification code

hello there,
Im trying to get on to lightroom its asking for there verification code but I never got the email to do so, I am not sure what to do and i have tryed to turn it off because of this very resion.
I would be most pleased if anyong could help.

What verification code is being requested? Are you signed in to the creative cloud application manager?

What exact version of Lightroom are you trying to use. As far as I'm aware, all that's necessary is for you to be signed in to the creative cloud with your Adobe ID and password, and you should be good to go with Lightroom or Lightroom Classic.
