Adobe presets

I had been using a canon EOS r and perfected my editing. I upgraded to Canon EOS R6 Mark ii in the beginning of the year. Well now none of my editing matches and the presents don’t work. They colors and everything. Is there a way to fix this? I don’t want to start over.

Hi @tiffanymanus,

Thank you for clarifying. I understand how frustrating it can be when long-trusted presets suddenly look different after moving to a new camera. As @LAMY2017 noted, the underlying camera sensor and color rendering between the EOS R and the EOS R6 Mark II will be different. Even though the profile name in Lightroom may look the same (for example, Adobe Color), the rendering baseline has shifted because Lightroom applies the profile calibrated for each specific camera model. This is why presets that worked perfectly before may now appear warmer or tinted.

I know it feels like “starting over,” but once you adjust the baseline profile and update your presets, you’ll regain the look you’re used to while keeping them compatible with your new camera.

Best regards,

Not a lot of info, tiffany. Can we assume you're using Photoshop?

"...none of my editing matches...colors and everything" -- probably a result of differences in camera settings, like Picture Style, Color Space.

"...and the presents don’t work" Flesh that out with a more involved description, please?

Apologies! Yes when using Lightroom. I have presets saved that I have been using for years. When I started using the new camera now my presets are off. The colors are off more on the pinkish side. It looks like the color profile under the basic tab is the same so not sure
