After editing a photo, when I adjust the crop (aspect ratio, dimensions) or use auto horizon alignment, the image’s exposure and brightness change unexpectedly.
After completing photo editing, when I make adjustments to the crop (including aspect ratio or image dimensions), the image’s brightness and exposure values change unexpectedly.
This issue occurs specifically when:
- Saving a crop adjustment, or
- Using the automatic horizon alignment tool
After applying either of these, the image appears significantly altered, with exposure and brightness parameters visibly shifting, even though no changes were made to those settings.
Expected behavior:
Crop, aspect ratio, or alignment adjustments should not affect exposure or brightness settings.
Actual behavior:
The image brightness and overall exposure are drastically modified after confirming crop or auto-alignment changes.
Device:
iPhone 16 Pro Max
App:
Lightroom Mobile (iOS)
Impact:
This is a serious issue because it disrupts the editing workflow and forces re-adjustment of exposure settings after cropping.
