Albums are missing but photos are still present

Recently I realized I have many albums missing from my library. When I got to "All Photos" the photos from those albums are still there. It seems to have happend to all albums that are more than a couple of years old. All albums are synced aross all my devices and I don't see the albums in any of my other devices. Thanks for the help.
