All of my previously stored Cloud photos are missing after my subscription ended

My company had been paying for my subscription to CC on my personal account where I was doing a lot of company work but also personal work with Lightroom. Thousands of company photos and tens of thousands of personal photos. A couple of years ago, CC made me move all my files to the cloud. It was all very confusing but I figured it worked.

Anyways, fast forward to November 2024 - 3 months ago- and the company suddenly closed and we had about a 2 weeks notice. The next week, my plan was cancelled. Life was obviously in a flux so I didn't resubcribe to Lightroom (and Lightroom Classic that are now pacakged together) until today, January 22, 2025. Notably, my work previously had me on the full CC package.

Now, when I go into my Lightroom, it says there are no Cloud files. None at all. None that were deleted, zeros all around.

So, my question is, will I ever be able to get my photos back or is my life's colletion of photography lost becase Adobe made me upload all my files and then deleted them? What are the steps to do this?

Thank you!

Hey @johnt36865279!

Adobe will store your original images for one year after your membership expires. During that time, you can still launch Lightroom to download your original files from the cloud.

Did you use the same email for your new subscription that you had on your company account?

I recommend reaching out to our customer support directly, as you might need to share personal account details: https://adobe.ly/3WBHL7n;

Thanks!

Hello @Aleke ! Yes, it is the same email that I used at my job. I was trying to use Lightroom (standard) first and didn't see any of my photos. Now I am looking on the downloaded CC app and there is still nothing in any of my files. I will try reaching out at the link that you shared above and hopefully be put in contact with an agent! I will share here if it is resolved.
