Android: how to keep LR mobile getting it's jobs done in background?

This is bothering since I started using this app many years ago:

- downloading smartpreview (with the story locally function) just stops when the screen is off

- photo import (after manually adding, since there is no CR3 auto import) also stops if' I'm not babysitting.

That's really annoying and slowing me down hugely. I set the app up correctly in Android, removed it from the powersavers, granted full battery. Other apps like fileexplorers, download managers, pod cast apps all keep doing their thing in background with the same settings. Only LR gets put to rest.

As a workaround I'm thinking about creating a 5h video with just a black screen that will trigger a media player to keep the device active. What are you're methods?
