App deleted recent photos

Uploaded about 26 new photos to lightroom last night (lightroom for android app), they uploaded fine and went through and edited some and exported finished images but now I've hopped back on and 18 of them have completely disappeared. They aren't in recycle bin or anywhere (and of course I jumped the gun last night and deleted the files off my camera SD card where I imported from...). Also seems to be random as some of the processed ones that I worked on last night are still there and some gone. All the rest of my photos from before yesterday are still there, it's only affected this one upload group. Any ideas or are they gone forever?
