App freezes while browsing Community Feed - iOS 26.5 - iPhone 14 Pro Max

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a frustrating issue with Lightroom Mobile on my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

While scrolling through the Community tab and opening photos to view them in detail, the app freezes completely after just a few images. The UI becomes unresponsive, and I have to force quit the app to get it working again.

System Details:

• Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max

• OS: iOS 26.5 (Latest)

• App Version: Latest update installed

• Storage: Plenty of free space available on the device

Steps already taken:

• Cleared app cache.

• Paused Cloud sync.

• Deleted and reinstalled the app entirely.

Despite all this, the freezing continues. It seems specifically tied to browsing the Community feed. Has anyone found a workaround or is this a known bug in the current build?

Thanks!

    Hello @Ali S - Photo.

    Thanks for contacting us.

I have the same device, and updated my iOS to 26.5, and tried the same latest LR iOS app version as you, and I cannot reproduce the app freeze you describe.  For about 10 minutes now, I’ve been browsing various images in Community, opening them up and viewing different Remixes (edits), tried Play Edits, and even tried making my own edits.

I appreciate the details and troubleshooting steps you shared.  I’d like to ask some questions to understand the problem better:

    • Does your device have a stable internet connection?  Could you try another internet connection?  For example, if you see this on cellular mobile internet, can you try WiFi?
    • Is your device getting warm when this happens?
    • Is there anything else worth mentioning about your device?  Examples: your battery health?  Are you in Low Power mode?  Is the device busy doing something else in the background?

I’m hoping some new clues will allow us to help you!

    Kind regards,

    Charlie
