App issues with staying open

The app keeps exiting in the middle of editing and it erases the work that I had just did. Please help.

I am having trouble with this on my iPhone X and IPad 6th Gen. So far I’ve been using the selective brushing tool.

Have you checked how much free disk space you have on your device?
Are you still e.g. syncing before you start to edit the image?

I'm assuming this occurs to Raw editing?
Any information about the dimensions and file type (as well as camera) would be helpful.

Now that you mention the storage thing. I think that could be a possibility. And yes. RAW files. Yes to syncing photos before editing them
