How do I append the original file number to the cusom name in Lightroom CC?

To my knowledge- there is not a rename function in Lightroom (Cloud based).

Only in file Export can you give the exported file a Custom name.

Agreed! That's where I did it. So, maybe I asked the wrong question: How can I retain the file number while exporting? (HEIC and such are not useful names.)

    Thanks,

You are stuck with the limitations of Lightroom!

You have two options in Export-

    1) Accept the Filename- as it is.

    2) Type a Custom name- (If your memory is good, remember the original 'number' and type it in 'Custom')

There is no process to rename multiple exports in one batch to incorporate the number from the original.
