Apple App Store Subscription Details - unclear what Is what

Hello everyone.

I am currently using Lightroom with a subscription via the Apple App Store.

The subscription costs 12,99 € and contains Lightroom and 1 TB Cloud storage (I think), but no Lightroom Classic (I know).

I recently checked my subscriptions via Apple. There I see 3 subscription options:

monthly for 11,99 €

monthly for 12,99 €

yearly for 144,99 €

But there are no further details on what is actually in these subscriptions.

Also the Apple support could not tell me and asked me to check with Adobe directly.

Can someone here check and let me know the difference between the subscriptions above (apart from the obivous year/month difference) ?

Thank you!

Hauke

This page that compares plans confirms you should have access to LR Classic, as long as you try signing in with the same Adobe ID / email address / or social service login that is able to successfully sign into the other apps.

Hello @hauke_0551

Adobe's system tells me you have the Lightroom 1 TB plan that does include all Lightroom apps for desktop and mobile, including Lightroom Classic.

The Mac App Store listing will show all plans offered around the world.  However, all plans may not be available in your area.  If you want to change plans, I believe currently it would be necessary to cancel your current subscription, let it expire, and then try subcribing to another plan you prefer to have (for example, if you wanted to convert from the monthly plan to the annual plan).  I cannot say if the cheaper monthly plan will be available in your geography.  That may only be available in certain countries, or might have been a price test that is no longer used.

Hi @Charlie.D
@thanks for checking and answering 🙂

however, then there seems to be a mistake because I definitely cannot use Lightroom Classic. I cannot install it from the Adobe Main App and in the past (when I had installed it), I would always get the message, that my subscription plan does not include the App.

can you give me an overview what the plans in my Region (Germany) include which are listed in the above screenshot?

thanks and best regards,

Hauke
