Application hangs right after splash

Adobe Lightroom 6.2

iMac running Ventura 13.2.1 - Memory: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Graphics: Radeon Pro 580 8 GB, Processor: 4.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

 

Lightroom crashes immediately after UI shows up. No crash dialog or errors, I experienced this on Friday and uninstalled. Reinstalled today. I've tried restarting my computer, it doesn't work on either my work or personal account. It works on my laptop. Please help!

I've now uninstalled lightroom, restarted, and it isn't even showing as an option to reinstall...

This probably goes back to checking with your Adobe Admin to make sure your license has Lightroom Desktop availability. It would go a long way toward explaining why you aren't seeing it on your reinstall attempt.

I have checked, and I do. LR works on my work account on my other computer, and the same issue occurs if I login to my personal account on the mac.

Welcome to the Lightroom Community. Need more info to help you figure this out.

 

Have you tried installing any other Adobe Apps? Does that work?

Please try these steps:

 

 

  • Go to the following location to launch Photoshop via terminal
    In Finder > Application Folder > Adobe Lightroom > Right-click on Lightroom.app > Show Package Contents > Contents > macOS > Lightroom - double click to open.

    All other Adobe apps work.

     

    Lightroom has the required disk access/permissions.

     

    I launched it via terminal, same result, crashed as soon as the UI showed up.
