Applying purchase of a plan to renewal of existing plan

I have a one year subscription to LR 1 TB that expires in a week or two.

I purchased a new one year subscription from Best Buy using their "Black Friday" discount.   My research suggested I would get a code I could apply to extend my exisitng subscription for a year.

The code I was sent was the long, 16 digit Code used to activate a download of LR software.    I already have an account and the software is installed.   There is a link at Adobe Creative Cloud to enter a code to extend my subscription term but that code is six digits.   Anyone have any suggestions?   Of course I cannot return the digital purchase from Best Buy but I suppose I could allow my subscription to expire and then restart it.  That seems nuts to me.   Thanks!

I took a look at your account, and it looks like your next payment will be due on 12/6/2026, so it looks like the code was applied. 🙂

So an Adobe agent told me on chat that I have to allow my existing subs

cription to expire.   Then use the 24 digit code I got for my "new" membership to reactivate my plan.   The "redeem.adobe.com" site only refers to 6 digits.   I am not sure my question has been answered!

Redeem codes aren't just 6 digits. I'm sure you got the correct answer.
