Archiving library when leaving Creative Cloud

Hi everyone, since my creative cloud subscription is running out i want to save my current lightroom library to an external drive. ideally i wanted to save them as a dng, just in case i´m getting a new subscription at some point and want to import the old settings. part of the export worked just fine, but now lightroom shows up following error: there seems to be not enough local storage. delete files, to free up more storage space (free translation as its in german). i tried looking through my local C drive, but did not find any lightroom files (the path selected for the exported is directed to a external drive). are there any other options to save my files? or is there a way to work around the local storage problem?

To export a file, Lightroom needs to first download the original. The location of these downloaded files is set in the preferences. The default is a folder inside your library folder (so your internal drive), but you can change that if the internal drive does not have enough space, and that seems to be the problem. Please note that this is not the same location you chose for the exported pictures.
