Asuss Proart PA279cv Monitor.

I got the Asuss Proart PA279cv Monitor. The color and contrast range is great imo. My problem is that when im editing on it, and I switch light room from it to another monitor, or upload the photo to facebook, the photo is about two stops too bright even though it looks great on the monitor. I know all monitors are not equal, but I feel that I should at least be putting out product that matches most viewing devices like Iphones etc. M questions is I know there is a standard, but should i be looking for a work around instead?

I have my color profile set to sRGB IEC30633-2.1

Any help on this would be apprecited.

I have my color profile set to sRGB IEC30633-2.1

By @James Ratliff 23

Where is that sRGB profile set?

  • In the Displays settings for Windows or macOS?
  • When exporting from Lightroom?
  • In the ProArt Preset color mode of the Asus ProArt PA279cv? (Like some higher end displays, that model has switchable color gamuts in hardware.)

Or a combination of the above?

If the ProArt Preset color mode is not set to sRGB, which color mode is it set to?

Thanks for the reply.

Profile set here in windows

Its also set to monitor 3 (probably not needed)

Lightroom shows it darker on the Asus monitor,  Exprot does as well.

Not sure what your asking here. I can find gamma and if i brighten it it looks like it puts the monitior closer to the ipad and other monitors. Can you elaborate?

It is set so srgb.

Correction, I can adjust gamma in standard mode, Not Srgb mode.
