At some point after the last update, my remove panel won't work. When I hit the remove icon, my computer freezes up completely and I have to restart it. Any thoughts on how to resolve this.

Apologies for the delayed response. Since this started after the latest update and the app freezes on opening the remove panel, this points to a processing or GPU-related issue rather than a workflow problem.

Let’s try a couple of targeted checks:

• Restart Lightroom and your system (just once more to reset state)

• In Lightroom, go to Preferences > Performance

• Turn Use Graphics Processor OFF

• Restart Lightroom and test the Remove panel again

If it works with GPU OFF, that helps narrow it down.

Also try:

• Test Remove on a different image (preferably a smaller file)

• Check if the freeze happens immediately or after processing starts

If it still freezes after disabling the GPU:

• Please share a short screen recording

• Confirm if the whole system freezes or just Lightroom

• Cop & paste the system info from the Lightroom Help > System Info.

Once I have that, I can escalate this properly if needed.
