Auto Add Android won't capture updates made in Photos app on Pixel?

I did some testing and this seems to be the case...if I take a pic on the native phone app and it gets auto added/imported in to LR mobile, but then couple hours later make an edit to that photo in the Photos app ...it's not going to update the LR version correct.

Sadly, vice versa if I make an edit in LR it is not going to show in Photos app without saving to device or exporting.

It's how Lightroom Mobile works. There is no link between it and the native photo application, be it Android or iOS.

It's and import export workflow, they are separate entities.
