Question

Auto editing on RAW photo imports in lightroom mobile

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong within the settings that's causing this issue, but after a RAW photo loads in lightroom mobile it looks heavily edited and the quality is significantly reduced. I'm new to using lightroom, but I haven't really changed settings so I don't know what's caused it. If anyone can help me with fixing the issue I'd really appreciate it, the video attached shows what's happening

Hi, @isabel_0678. I'm checking in to see how things are going. Are you still having issues with Lightroom?
We'd love to help if you're still having trouble. Please feel free to let us know how it's going.

Thanks!

Hey, @isabel_0678. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Does this happen with only the recent RAW images, or do all the photos behave similarly? Has this happened since any recent updates to Lightroom or the Android OS?

The unedited images can appear dull and not be as good as they appeared on the Camera screen. Lightroom renders the unedited/pure view of the RAW images and requires your input to bring the image to your expected results.

Also, Temperature and tint are values present in the RAW data applied by the Camera and are solely interpreted by Lightroom.

If you notice any other changes in the images right after import, one reason could be the RAW defaults within Lightroom. These allow default settings for importing raw file format images in Lightroom based on Adobe defaults, camera-specific defaults, or custom presets.

I hope this helps.
