Auto Mask not working

The mask feature on my pc does not work. It works perfectly on my phone and selects the subject and background but on my pc it always says there is no subject that could be identified.

Thanks for reporting this. To help us investigate, could you share a few details?

System Info from the Help menu (Help > System Info > Copy and paste it here)
A sample photo where the issue occurs, if possible.
Also, does this happen with all images or only specific ones?

This will help us narrow down what’s causing the Auto Mask to fail on your PC.

There has not been one picture that the masking tool has worked properly on and I have tried dozens. Never had an issue with the tool on my phone.
