Backup email

When I signed up for Adobe premiere had asked me to provide a backup email in case something happened to my account. I provided a backup email. Now when attempting to add a new device, a verification code is being sent to not my original email, not the backup email, bought a combination of the two that adobe has crammed together as one single email. How do I fix this? I'm on Android.
