Best way to export bulk photos to local drive?

I need to free up space on my cloud based LR, i was wondering what is the best way to export originals to a local SD drive? When i've tried to do large quantities in the past, LR would just freeze out. Appreciate any help.

Hey, @jjc97158674. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. What operating system are you working on? Does this happen with a series of images, or do all images behave similarly?

Try these steps:

Create a test album in Lightroom.
Right-click on the album name and save the album locally
Export the album to an internal storage location as Original + Edits.

Once the images are exported with edits, you can vacate the space on the cloud storage at Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/473OARq).
