Beta Version (Product not specified) installs over top of existing version

It is completely unacceptable that a beta version will take over completely, and make itself default overriding the ability to launch the reliably tested version, just unacceptable. You can't allow a beta to take over, ever!

Since I installed the beta, lightroom wouldn't communicate with the official Photoshop version anymore. The Lightroom settings had only the beta version as a secondary editing option and nothing else. only after uninstalling and reinstalling the official version of Photoshop (after getting rid of the beta) it came back as an option.
