Beug/Crash LR

Bonjour, 

 

Depuis ce week end, impossible de travailler sur LR sur mac, il s'ouvre mais dès que je veux utiliser les masques, IA, la réduction de bruit par exemple. Ca tourne en boucle, et LR me force à quitter. 

En somme, dès son ouverture, impossible de l'utiliser.

 

J'ai essayer d'éteindre l'ordi et rallumer. Désinstaller et réinstaller, ca ne change rien.

 

Mon appli elle sur mon telephone Samsung, elle fonctionne très bien. Mais je ne vois pas editer 2 mariages et 4 seances photos sur mon téléphone.

I totally understand how frustrating this must be. To help out, could you let us know what version of Lightroom Classic you're using, and what version of macOS?

Do you see any error messages or dialogs when the issue happens? If so, a screenshot would be super helpful.

As a first step, try resetting your preferences. This will return Lightroom to its default settings and can often fix issues caused by a corrupted internal file.

Let me know how it goes or if you need help with the reset steps!

Preferences fait, cache fait, desintaller/ reinstaller LR fait

Ca beug des que j utilise les modules necessitant L'IA comme les masques,
le bruit, les flous

Hi @17206145_Kl4021, thanks for sharing the details. Since the crashes are happening specifically when using AI-powered tools (Masks, Denoise, Lens Blur, etc.), here are a few more things to test:
 • Go to Preferences > Performance and temporarily disable Use Graphics Processor to see if the issue improves.
 • Ensure macOS Sequoia and your Lightroom are fully up to date (you mentioned v8.5.1, which is the latest).
 • Does this happen with all file formats (RAW, DNG, JPEG, TIFF), or only certain ones?
 • If possible, please share a short screen recording of what happens right before Lightroom quits. This will help us better understand the failure.


If the crash persists, could you also copy & paste your System Info from Lightroom (Help > System Info) into a reply here? That will give us a more complete picture.
