Blurry Thumbnails in Lightroom Mobile Apps

Hello,

 

ist it normal that thumbnails in Lightroom Mobile Apps look so blurry? See attached screenshots.

It is independent from camera or file format. Even when i make a picture with my iPhone 13 and import it, it is blurry. In Device view everything looks fine, but in Lightroom Library View all thumbnails are blurry. 

Only when i select an image for editing the quality is fine.


At Lightroom Desktop on Windows and Lightroom Web everything is working well.

 

 

Tested with:

Lightroom for iPad v9.2 with iPad Air Gen5 and iPadOS 17

Lightroom for iOS v9.2 with iPhone 13 wit iOS 17

Lightroom for Android on Samsung Tab A8 with Android 13

 

It is not possbile to for me to check or cull images in gridview because of the low quality thumbnails.

    Did you ever solve this? It's driving me crazy. Can't decide what to delete from the gallery screen because of the terrible quality, and there's no way of deleting or selecting from the edit screen.

    No, i didn't solve it. I think that's how lightroom works. I doesn't generate high resolution thumbnails like iOS Photos. (That's just my guess...maybe anyone can confirm or deny this)

    So, you have no other opportunity as use the editing view for culling images. If you open the metadata view (Info-Icon) you're able to rate and (de)selected images.
