Can I move Lightroom Library.lrlibrary to a different folder?

Hi

I want to move the Lightroom Library.lrlibrary to a different folder. There is a preference that appears to do this but the file doesn't move and if I delete the file it gets recreated in Pictures and not as per the setting in Preferences.

Any ideas appreciated

Regards

No, it currently has to be in the default location. The preference you're referring to is for setting a different location for any downloaded original images, it doesn't affect the location of the local library.

I should imagine there's already a feature request for this capability at the official Adobe feedback site: Lightroom CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community

Suggest you have a look and if there is, add your vote. If there's not already one there, you could create it.

Ok, thank you.

I will take a look at the feature requests you suggest. It is not a big issue it just upsets my tidy hard disc :-)
