Can I opt out of the Gude Text File Ps Generates?

I have these Gude Text Files generated in my folders that have PSD's files. What is this for and do I need it? Is there a way to opt out of getting these generated?

There was a bug in Photoshop a few versions back where GUDE files were created.

If you update Photoshop to the 24.2 or later, you should see them no longer.
