Can't delete photos

I'm using LR CC 3.3 on a Mac with current OS.

In the filmstrip, I right click on a photo and choose delete.  Then the photo is grayed out but not actually deleted.  Only option is to close/restart LR and delete the photo again.

This started only after the "upgrade" last week which has been nothing but buggy.  Is there a way to roll back to the last stable version?
