Can´t import from SD card

Newly installed lightroom classic and and have a problem to import from SD card, no problem to import from my hard drive. I'm getting an error message. "Could not copy a file to the destination folder because it is read-only". I have ensured that the folder has no write protection and restart but it is still not possible to import

    Hi bennym,

    Which operating system are you using?

    Please check the destination set in Lightroom import window, sometimes it is set to system library or a read only folder.

    Does changing the destination to your desktop makes any difference?
