Can't import photos to Lightroom CC

Hi, I used to only have Lightroom CC on my laptop and recently installed it on my PC as well. While I can still import photos from my laptop to Lightroom, it is impossible to import on my PC as I get an error message: "Some photos were not added. Unable to copy file.". This happens whether I import 1 photo or 200 photos, the amount does not matter. I'm running the latest version of 4.0 and still have nearly 10GB of cloud storage left, so that shouldn't be an issue. Anybody know what this could be?
