Can't import pics in Lightroom 6 (Mac) , then I get "Lightroom quit unexpectedly"

Hi, been trying to import pics into lightroom 6 but nothing has worked. Soon as a click the "import" button after selecting the images I want, I get booted from Lightroom and a white window appears with few lines of code,

The default interactive shell is now zsh.

I've googled the error message, looked up what could be the issue and try to fix it but I got nothing. I've updated my mac so that could have caused the issue. Please help.
