Can't import to iPad from Canon 5d III

I am running Lightroom CC on my iPad. Latest CC, latest iPadOs, iPad Air 3.

When I connect my Canon EOS 5d III to my iPad using Apple's camera connector, the "Camera" item in the import function remains gray. I can still import from Photos and from files.

When I unplug the iPad and plug in my iPhone (same IOS), I can import from the camera directly into Lightroom CC.

Is this a known bug?

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Please check iOS Settings.app > Privacy > Files and Folders > Lightroom

Some users are reporting they see two toggles.  If you do too, see if toggling settings Off and then back On helps.  Also, this should consolidate the setting to show just one toggle switch as expected.

Thanks a lot, that solved it.

Still strange, I don't remember that Lightroom ever asked for permission and I denied it.

But all working fine now.
