Can't migrate from Classic to new CC

So I want to migrate from LR classic to LRCC but problem is, the wizard tells me I need 327gb of space on my main HD and my macbook pro only has 256gb...

And it seems I can't move the catalog on another hard drive ?

Is there a trick or I am screwed ?

thanks

I assume that your 327GB of images are currently on an external hard drive? The thing is that migrating a catalog from Classic to LRCC requires that LRCC ingests all the associated images, so needs the space to store them locally until they are uploaded to the cloud. So you need that amount of free space, but it doesn't have to be on the local system drive....if you have an external drive with that amount of space you can change the LRCC Preferences>Local Storage tab to change the "Storage location for originals" to point to that external drive. Once you've made that change, restart LRCC and you should then be able to run the migration tool.
