Question

Can't See Contributors Photos in Shared Album

I did 2 photoshoots with a second shooter. I desperately need the shared/invited album feature to work because we’ve tried everything, updating our apps, checking our cloud status, resharing the album. On his end he sees all the photos - mine and his - but on my end I still only see mine. Well, except in one album I see 7 of his photos but not the 100s he sees on his end. He’s sent me screenshots of what he sees on his end to prove that his photos are synced to the cloud and everything. This feature has worked fine between us in the past so I feel like this should be an easy bug to fix.

Hi @tandis, Welcome to the Lightroom Community Forum! A few things to check to help troubleshoot:

    1. Contributor's sync status: Have your second shooter confirm their photos are fully uploaded (cloud checkmark icon), not still pending. Photos can appear locally on their end before they've actually synced to the cloud.

    2. Album role: Open the shared album → People/Members → verify they're listed as a Contributor, not a Viewer.

    3. Check Lightroom Web: Go to https://adobe.ly/4fXoA1B and look at the album there. If the photos appear on the web but not in your app, it's a local sync issue. Try signing out and back in.

    4. Storage quota: If either account is near its storage limit, sync can silently stall. Check under Account > Plans & storage.

If none of these steps work, let us know, and we can continue troubleshooting. I hope this helps! ^CH
