Can't show whether an image has been edited or not

What kind of workflow stupidity it was to delete this feature. No more editing randomly through a collection! With the available options and tags in the Lightroom app on my desktop and do not see any option like Lightroom Classic CC have that shows whether an image has been edited or not.

In Lightroom Classic, one can tell by looking at the image thumbnail whether the image has been edited.

Here's another way to see what is edited. While you are in the edit mode, look at the very right edge. A small circle denotes that the image has an edit in that specific edit panel.

It would be better just to show a flag in "Detail, filmstrip shown".
If a similar photo has already been edited and exported.
I don't necessarily want to edit what is remaining shown as "not edited".
Viewing "edited" or "not edited" is useful, but NOT what would be best. A visual flag was better.
