Can't sync files other than jpeg

Senerio:

Add ARW files to Lightroom.

Edit in Photoshop then back to Lightroom which makes them a TIFF file.

Lightroom will not sync to cloud.

I have to export them to my computer as a JPEG

Delete all the files in Lightroom then reimport them to Lightroom.

It will now sync the JPEG file.

Why do I have to do all the deleting and importing????????

Hi @Rodney_Lisby5828! Welcome to the community!

Could you share a few more details about what’s happening? What versions of Lightroom and Photoshop are you using? On my end, when I edit a photo from Lightroom in Photoshop, then save and close Photoshop, the changes show up automatically in Lightroom. Is it working differently for you?

If you’re able to share a quick screen recording of your workflow, that would really help us take a closer look.
