Can't upload pictures to Lightroom mobile

I recently tried adding pictures from a folder on my phone to Lightroom, but they're just nowhere to be seen. When I try uploading them again, it says "skipped importing duplicates", which implies they're already there, even though they're not. Anybody ever had a similar problem?
