Can't upload pictures to Lightroom mobile

I recently tried adding pictures from a folder on my phone to Lightroom, but they're just nowhere to be seen. When I try uploading them again, it says "skipped importing duplicates", which implies they're already there, even though they're not. Anybody ever had a similar problem?

You might double-check to make sure you don't have any sorting filters selected. It should show you at the top of your image browser if you have any filters activated. But you can also tap the Funnel icon to see your "Filter by" categories.
