Can't view shared albums in Lightroom Desktop

I used to be able to see albums shared with me in the desktop version of Lightroom, but no longer can after update. In the web version, I can see albums shared with me but can’t filter by photo’s I’ve hearted.

As I said I’m able to see shared albums just fine in the Web version. I see the album you shared but with no images in it. I cannot select “Shared Photos”. My issue is in the desktop version.

Thanks for the updates, @Ruishiro. Before proceeding, please check whether all images & edits have synced as expected in Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com).

If you’re on macOS, try these suggestions:

    • Ensure Lightroom has the required permissions on macOS: macOS:https://adobe.ly/3WfrQf2
    • Choose Go > Go To Folder in the Finder window and type ~/pictures. Locate a bundle named Lightroom Library.lrlibrary.
    • Right-click or control-click this bundle and choose Show Package Contents. You'll find a folder inside it with a long cryptic string of numbers and letters (for example: d1a4f88d2b534c7d91022136fd182532). Open that folder.
    • In the folder, move out all the files named Managed Catalog.[anything] to the Mac's desktop.
    • Launch Lightroom.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

I’m running lightroom on a Windows PC, not a Mac.

Hey, @Ruishiro. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

In Lightroom desktop, while in the Cloud View > Select Shared > Shared with Me, Shared Images & Shared Albums should appear.

If it does not help, please include screenshots of what you see.

    Thanks!

There is no option for “Shared with Me” under the Shared tab.

Thanks for adding the screenshot. Please verify if you see a similar structure in Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) using the same email account.

I’ve shared a test image with you on the account you’ve used for community.

Let me know if it appears in Shared With you once you’ve accepted the invite.

    Thanks!
