Question

Cancel moving of photos

Hey community,

for some reason ... and I actually don't know, how I did it ... Lightroom wants to move a few hundreds of my photos to elsewhere. The only option it offers is, to postpone this action but unfortunately not to cancel it.

Does anyone know how to stop this task?

"Elsewhere" meaning what, where? Can you post a screenshot of what it says?

This is, what pops up right after starting.
photo is the name of my mapped backup drive.
I only want to know where I can see the task that causes this action as I'm not aware of having any started.

That message is the expected result of changing the specified location of locally stored originals, on the Lightroom Preferences>Cache tab. When that location is changed by the user, on next restart Lightroom needs to move any locally stored originals from the old to the new location. Unless you made that change inadvertently, you should allow Lightroom to move those files. This has no effect on your images stored in the cloud.
