Cannot change resolution anymore under share option when trying to export photos

Normally I can set resolution and some other settings if I want to „share“ photos and save it to my iCloud.

but after the latest update of Lightroom mobile the resolution under „share“ or in Germany „Teilen“ is fix set to 2048p and I am not able to change it. Additionally Lightroom won‘t generate the final photos. It started working on them for sharing but stops after a few photos.

Instead of using “Share” try the nearby option “Export As..” (allowing for regional translation)

Export As… allows you to specify Dimension, File Type, Image Quality, etc.

Thanks but this does not help me. I use the settings and functionality of “Export as…” to save my pictures in lower resolution into the cloud. Including Watermark. Beside this I use “Share” with different settings to save my pictures on harddrive. So I need both options but with different presettings.

I do not want to change settings in “Export as…” every time I want to save my photos on different locations. And anyway: “Share” worked fine for me until the last update of Lightroom Mobile. Now nothing works anymore for me with this option.

Ah! I just learned something about the new Share design…  Try this:

Long-press (hold your finger down) on the ‘Share’ button until a Settings option appears.

You can adjust Share settings to specify “Largest available dimensions” and other options, and these will not conflict with the Export As.. settings.
