Cannot download edited file

Hi! I have adited a file, it is quite big, 1.4gb. Added some shadows etc. I downloaded the file several months ago, the app trimmed the size to 230mb. Which is ok for me. Samed as 16, TIFF, maximum size.

now I reedited the same file. But when I try to save the files, the app is thinking up to 10 minuts and then just shot down. No file saved. I left it also over night-in the morning it was still rendering. I do it again, I reached the menu-where to save twice, but the size of the image was 70mg and thrn 20mb. The same instructions:16, tiff, maximum size. How the app decides what size it should save the file-no idea.
so my question is what can I improve? I need the file minimum 200mb.

Hello @Dasha30240569dhep

I don't have an image quite that large, which is probably why I could not reproduce any problem on my iPad Pro.  At the very least, I thought I might see some variation in output file size as you described, but even that problem was not reproduced.  My exports where all very close to the same size as long as I kept the same settings.

Working with files this large is not common on mobile devices, so it may take time for the engineers to prioritize and investigate.  For now, my recommendation is to ensure that your device has many, many GBs of free space available so that the app can use device storage for swap memory (due to relatively small RAM memory on these devices).  Maybe a device restart is worth trying too, and closing all other apps just to ensure Lightroom has every bit of device resources it needs.

I also wonder if using the Lightroom desktop app works any better.  My guess is that memory is stressed and a computer might work better as they usually have more memory.  Without a Lightroom desktop subscription, you might still be able to try this export with a free trial period.
