Cannot export images (Windows 11) "AI Update Required", clicked Export, nothing happens

I have a number of images selected, some have AI edits. I click export, and select custom export. I get a message about  "AI Update Required" , so I select the box to update and export, then nothing happens.

I’m using Lightroom, but the images are local, not in cloud.
