Cannot import CR2 Raw files - 6D Mark II

Question

I cannot import the RAW files - preview is not available. I have Canon 6D Mark II. I have Lightroom 6 & when I went into Help > Updates, it says my version is up to date.

I am not very good with this stuff, so specific step by step help would be very greatly appreciated! Thank you

You need Version 6.12, or higher, to edit the 6D mII raw files.

You have three choices-

1) Find a copy of v6.14 to install 6.14 PRODESIGN DOWNLOADS

2) Convert the raw files to DNG raw and import to v6. DNG CONVERTER

3) Subscribe to the Photography Plan (20Gb), and be always updated to the lastest version of Lightroom-Classic (now at v9.3)
