Cannot import from album in iOS Photos to Lightroom for iPad

I have Lightroom installed on my iPad Air 3 (latest iOS release). When I try to import a photo from one of the albums in Photos on the iPad into Lightroom I get a message saying "One photo failed to import" . 

My photos on iPad are sync'ed with Photos on my MacBook Pro (late 2013, MacOS Catalina). 

What can I do to correct this? What is causing the problem?

Hi,

If you are importing from e.g. the camera roll there can be many reasons for the image to fail on import.
Do you know which image you are having a problem with?
If so do you know what kind of image it is and where it came from?

Is it possible for you to e.g. copying it and then editing it?
Does the image work on other apps?
