Dear all

This photo is shared https://adobe.ly/4qauno1 but you cannot zoom 100% on it. The photo is 500Mpx (yes Five Zero Zero) it is not coming from Lightroom Classic with a synchronization and is not limited to 2650px. The 116Mo Jpeg of 500Mpx has been directly uploaded on https://lightroom.adobe.com/ with the full definition

The maximum Zoom level I get on the shared version is this

When the 100% zoom is that

So my question is, why cannot you zoom 100% on a shared photo

Kind regards

    Hi @ouiouiphoto, Welcome to the Lightroom Community forum! When you share a web link to an Adobe Lightroom album or gallery, the maximum zoom level for viewer interaction is capped at a base size, commonly around 2048 pixels wide on the longest edge, and does not provide a true 100% pixel-peeping view of your original high-resolution raw file. I hope this helps! ^CH

    @Claire H.

    I think it’s now quite a lot more than 2048px on the long edge, though still not a full 100% view (I’ve asked for that several times). I’m also not sure that it’s capped at a specific pixel dimension, from some brief experimentation it seems to vary from image to image, e.g. a 30,000px image viewed at maximum size in the web interface occupies approximately 7000 px (so around 25%), whereas a 6000px image seems to occupy around 4500px (so around 75%).

    I’ve never figured it out exactly.
