Catalogue is empty after synchronisation

Question

I accidently synchronised LRCAT file and all the pictures in the file were gone. After that I saved it as a new LRCAT but the file was still empty. Unfortunately I do not have a back up of that catalogue.

How to undo the synchronisation?

You need to explain exactly how you "synchonised an LRCAT file". Also please confirm which app you are referring to, Lightroom Classic (LrC icon) or Lightroom Desktop (Lr icon). Also provide the current version number of the app.
