CC Will not download

Question

Just purchased CC subscription online and downloaded installer...but it will not install. I say this because I do not see any change. My old LR6.12 is still there. I do see this message adobe creative cloud is needed to resolve the issue. Click repair...Have done this many times with no change or completion. Also this...Warning: The app is running in app  translocation, a macos security mechanism for apps that are not properly installed. I have no idea what that means. Using OSX 10.15.3 Any ideas?

Download and install the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

When complete, launch CC desktop and you can install individual apps from the Apps tab. You probably need the Lightroom Classic app.
