Centtalized Upload to Adobe Cloud

Dear,

my workflow is to have my mobile fotos  (as well as DSLR fotos ) being collected in a central folder of my NAS.

Is there any option for the upload to "watch" this folder and to upload the files whenever there is so e content in the said folder either on W10 or Linux level?

This would spare me to upload the pictures twice - once to the centralized  folder and another time to Adobe Creative Cloud.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts,

Regards

I apologize for coming across so strong about Linux. I understand how enthusiastic users can be about it. It's just that I have seen some rather heated discussions about it in the past that haven't accomplished anything very productive. I Don't work for Adobe, don't have any connections with the company whatsoever. But I don't believe they have any intentions of supporting the platform. And I didn't want to see another long-winded discussion started. We never know the intentions of someone when they start a discussion. Please feel free to ask more questions. Didn't want to put you off.

Jim,

threads are difficult as you are limited to the written line and lack facial and verbal expression.

However, I do not feel put off - and if you knew me, you would know that you do not have to encourage me to raise further  questions  🤣

First of all, Linux is out. There is no support for it, and from all I have read Adobe doesn't intend to support it. Yes, I know, it is a great operating system, according to those who use it. I don't know, I have never used it and never will. Let's not get into a discussion about that because it won't prove to be productive.

Lightroom, the cloud version, stores your images in the cloud. You can store a copy locally on a hard drive. But it isn't a working copy. The version in the cloud will synchronize with other devices (mobile phones, tablets, other computers via web browsers, etc.) and can be edited on those devices. But as far as I know, there isn't a way to do what you are asking for. However, someone else may have an idea.

Jim,

Thank you for your feedback. When raising Linux it wasn't to start an unnecessary diskussion on the supremacy of any OS, but just to share the Information which OSs are available.

Even though you do not see any option so far - thank for taking the time to write.

What exact version of Lightroom are you referring to?

I am referring to Lightroom, the cloud based photo service and it's corresponding applications.
